Kill Mode 3/4" Supercharger Cooling Ports – Audi 3.0T
KILL MODE — 3/4" SUPERCHARGER COOLING PORTS
Bigger flow. Billet construction. No more OEM plastic.
On a supercharged Audi 3.0T, intake air temperature matters. As heat builds, the supercharger system has to work harder to keep charge temperatures under control, and repeated pulls can become less consistent when the cooling system is pushed past its comfort zone. Lower and more stable IATs help the car stay closer to the performance your tune and hardware are asking for.
Kill Mode ports are built for owners who are past basic bolt-ons and are serious about the cooling system. If you are chasing hard back-to-back pulls, drag-strip consistency, or working toward a properly supported 10-second quarter-mile setup, this is the kind of supporting modification that belongs in the plan. It is not a magic 10-second part by itself — it is a high-flow cooling upgrade meant to remove one more restriction and weak point from the system.
These 3/4" billet aluminum supercharger cooling ports replace the factory plastic connections and open the system up for 3/4" hose, giving upgraded cooling systems a stronger, cleaner, less restrictive path.
WHY IAT CONTROL MATTERS
- More consistent performance: controlling heat helps reduce the performance drop-off that can happen after repeated hard runs.
- Better use of upgraded cooling hardware: larger pumps, heat exchangers and reservoirs can only do so much if the system is still necked down at restrictive connections.
- Built for serious setups: ideal for pulley cars, ethanol setups, aggressive tuning and drag-oriented builds where heat management becomes increasingly important.
- Reliability upgrade: removes the factory plastic coolant connections from a high-heat performance environment.

FOR THE BUILD THAT ISN'T STOPPING AT STAGE 2
When the goal is a genuinely fast 3.0T, cooling becomes part of the power package. The Kill Mode upgrade is for customers who want to address the system properly instead of leaving the factory-size restriction and plastic connection points in place while increasing heat load everywhere else.
Cooler. Harder. Longer.
INSTALLATION NOTE
Installation requires modification/enlargement of the factory supercharger coolant-port openings for the larger 3/4" flow path. Review the installation photos in the gallery before beginning. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable modifying the supercharger housing.
